Professional lifeguard responsibilities like interacting with the public and addressing uncooperative patrons

Surveillance skills to help you recognize and prevent injuries

Rescue skills - in the water and on land

First aid training and professional rescuer CPR – to help you prepare for any emergency.

REQUIREMENTS:

Be more than 15 years of age

Swim 100 m freestyle (non stop)

Swim 100 m breast stroke (non stop)

Swim 100 m back stroke (non stop)

Must be able to dive to the bottom of pool (3 Meters)

Good command in English (speaking and reading)

Practical training for LIFE GUARD with equipments.

Practical training for CPR & First Aid with equipments.

Certification

Certified licenses will be delivered to each participant in the end of the training session after passing the practical and written test.

One License (ID card) for Life guarding, Basic First Aid and CPR/AED valid for 2 years.
One Certificate for Life guarding including First Aid and CPR/AED valid for 2 years.

Our life guard certification is valid and recognize by the U. A. E. Swimming Federation.

Rescue skills

Caring for head, neck and back-injuries in the water.

First Aid

Preventing disease transmission. How to provide the first aid in case of illness, bites & stings, poisoning, wounds, burns, injuries to muscles-bones and joints, heat and cold-related emergencies.

CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation)

The professional rescuer and the emergency medical service system.

Caring for life-threatening emergencies.

Breathing emergencies for the infant, child and adult.

Using of resuscitation and bag valve mask (ambu bag) for giving ventilations.

Chocking emergencies: conscious choking (infant- child- adult) Unconscious choking (infant- child –adult)

Cardiac emergencies for the infant, child and adult.

AED – Automated External Defibrillator for the professional Life guard.
